Privacy Policy

AIPT (“we”, “us”) provides an AI-generated personal training app across the web, iOS, and Android. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Information we collect

• Account information.Your email address, used to sign you in via a one-time link or code — we don't use passwords.
• Fitness profile. What you tell us during intake: goals, available equipment, training days and session length, an age range, height and weight (if provided), experience and activity level, movement constraints, and any other preferences you enter. This is used to generate your training plan. We ask that you not include PII (Personal Identifiable Information) — such as names or other identifying details — in the free-text fields (movement constraints, preferences).
• Meal plan preferences. Cuisine preferences, dietary restrictions or allergies, and anything else you enter when generating a meal plan — same PII guidance applies.
• Training activity. The training plans, sessions, and meal plans generated for you, plus your progress: completed exercises, session ratings, and history.
• Usage analytics.We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage (e.g. which steps of the intake flow people complete). See Google's privacy policy for how it handles this data.
• Technical data. Standard web/app request logs (e.g. IP address, device and browser type) collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure.

We don't collect payment information (the app is free) or precise location, and the app doesn't integrate with Apple Health, Google Fit, or similar services.

How we use this information

• To generate your personalized training plan and meal plan.
• To operate your account and send sign-in emails.
• To save your progress and let you pick up where you left off.
• To understand overall usage and improve the app.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the app, each acting on our behalf:

• Anthropic(the AI provider) — to generate your training plan and meal plans, we send Anthropic's API your goal, age range, height/weight (if provided), equipment and available time, movement constraints (if provided), and dietary preferences. You'll see this disclosed and be asked to explicitly consent to it in the app before it happens.
• An image search provider — used to fetch stock food photos for meal plans, using only generic dish names as search terms, not any personal information.
• An email delivery provider — your email address is passed to it solely to deliver sign-in links.
• Google Analytics — aggregate usage analytics, as described above.
• Hosting and database providers that store and process app data on our behalf.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at privacy@aipt.app.

Children's privacy

AIPT is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us at privacy@aipt.app to exercise any of these rights.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above.
